As aCustomer Service Associatein our Supply Chain team on a12-month fixed term contract, youll play a key role in managing daily order processes, resolving logistics challenges, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service efficiency and reducing operational costs.

Reporting to theSenior Customer Service Associate, youll be part of a collaborative team of ten, delivering consistent and proactive order management. Youll provide outstanding customer service support to both external clients and internal sales account teams, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.

This role will be based from our Media City, Manchester office on a hybrid working pattern with one weekend in six and occasional bank holidays.

A Taste of What Youll Be Doing

1. Order Management & Customer Service: Provide proactive, timely, and professional day-to-day order management while partnering with internal and external customers to deliver exceptional service.
2. Issue Resolution: Identify trends, perform root cause analyses, and provide solutions to resolve customer logistics, order fulfilment, and transportation issues.
3. Continuous Improvement: Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to enhance service, drive efficiencies, and decrease costs.
4. Proactive Checks: Execute proactive checks to ensure accurate and timely ordering of de-lists, NPD, special packs, and new listings.
5. Communication: Deliver timely communication to customers regarding projected service levels, delivery delays, product shortages, and alternative delivery slots or product substitutions.
6. Coordination: Work effectively with upstream and downstream functions and third-party service providers to ensure accuracy and timeliness of order processing.

7. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and perform root cause analyses.
9. Proactive problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
10. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
11. Proficient in MS Office 365, with a desire to grow skills in tools like Excel, Power BI, or other analytics platforms.
