Garden Centre Team Member - Plant Location: Winnersh Contract Type: Permanent Hours: Part Time Hour: 16 Hours Per Week Including Weekends. We are currently seeking a Garden Centre Team Member – Plants. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, helping to ensure every customer enjoys the very best experience in store. This is an active, hands on position, so you will need to be physically fit, as some lifting and moving of stock is required. Your responsibilities will include: • Supporting the Garden Centre team with deliveries and stock management • Assisting customers with enquiries and offering friendly, helpful service • Carrying compost and other items to customers’ vehicles • Providing till support when needed Knowledge of plants is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided. Strong attention to detail and accuracy are key to maintaining productivity across the department. Excellent communication and organisational skills are also essential for success in this role. Merchandising a variety of products. Moving furniture around departments. Quality customer service. General housekeeping. Till operations. Administration. General maintenance and care of plants and all areas. Assisting customers with any advice and requirements.
