What you’ll be doing
as the Project Support Technician
1. Responsible for investigating the clean water network to resolve poor asset performance, including high or low pressure, leakage metering queries and loss of supply.
2. Professionally communicating with all stakeholders to ensure efficient completion of projects and maintenance programmes.
3. Provide specialist technical advice where appropriate to support the first-time completion of planned works.
4. Attend and contribute to performance meetings to provide updates and highlight risks to delivery.
5. Support the implementation of new technical systems and processes to improve the efficiency of the PS team.
6. Proactively seek to understand asset care plans and asset criticality, as well as produce scope of work packs upon request.
7. Engagement with Health & Safety initiatives, providing examples of best practice/contributions improvements.
Base Location: Walton-on-Thames - KT12 2EG
Working Pattern: 38 Hours Monday- Friday, plus Standby rota payments & Overtime opportunities can increase your earning potential upon completion of essential company training.
Due to the nature of this role, you must hold a full UK driver's licence

9. Can demonstrate a strong external customer service ethic, measurement of customer satisfaction and a proven track record of delivering improvement for internal and external customers.
10. Proven experience in project or work coordination with the ability to communicate in a friendly, open, honest and constructive manner with a range of people and stakeholder departments.
11. An understanding of domestic plumbing, water mains & leakage detection.
12. A water industry qualification in operating water networks, or an equivalent qualification.
13. This role will require you to work autonomously as well as within a team.
14. Full UK driving licence.
