Summary Responsibilities
* Deliver and lead in the delivery of holistic care for residents, meeting their unique needs. Duties include (but are not limited to): personal care; assisting with mobility; infection control; supporting residents with dementia and end-of-life care; changing bed linen; sorting laundry; safe disposal of clinical waste; managing stock levels and equipment such as wheelchairs.
* Undertake clinical and medication tasks under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
* Collaborate with volunteers, Wellbeing Coordinator, and therapy teams to provide meaningful activities.
* Build relationships with stakeholders, including a key worker relationship with residents.
* Assist with nutrition and food choices, serving drinks, and helping with eating and drinking.
* Maintain accurate records related to care and regulatory requirements.
* Participate in handovers, team meetings, and supervisions.

Other Skills and Qualifications
* Level 2 in Care (or equivalent) or experience.
* Ability to provide dignified personal care (nutrition, bathing, toileting).
* Educated to GCSE level including maths and English.
* Proficient with IT, Word, and Email.
* Knowledge of older people's needs and dementia.
* Understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and CQC requirements.
* Knowledge of basic first aid, manual handling, and hygiene practices.
* Experience working with older people, those with disabilities, or dementia.
* Experience in nursing homes, hospitals, sheltered housing, or social care.
* Level 3 in Care (or willingness to achieve) for Senior Care Assistants.
* People management and development skills.
* Clinical experience with oxygen management, catheter care, “stop and watch,” low-level observations, etc.

Hours: Full-time and part-time roles available
Pay: £14.05 per hour plus applicable enhancements.
