We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Production Line Operator to join a new production site in, Dumfries. You'll start in late August to support setup, training, and initial operations ahead of a full launch later in the year.
This is a production role that involves operating and maintaining machinery, following strict hygiene procedures, and supporting a small team in getting things running smoothly from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate machinery on the production line to meet daily output targets
* Carry out product quality checks and record results accurately
* Use a forklift to handle stock and materials (experience required)
* Assist with troubleshooting and basic fault resolution on machines
* Follow all food safety, health & safety, and hygiene procedures
* Develop and maintain working knowledge of:
* Machinery Work Instructions
* Cleaning Instruction Cards (CICs)
* All production line equipment on site
What We're Looking For
* Experience working on a production line (ideally in food or drink manufacturing)
* Forklift licence or relevant experience operating forklifts
* Basic mechanical aptitude - comfortable around machinery and technical tasks
* A proactive attitude, with strong timekeeping and a keen eye for detail
* Someone who's hands-on, dependable, and ready to get stuck in
* £13.00 per hour (based on a 40-hour week)
* £50 monthly attendance allowance
