At AQA, you’ll be part of a team of seven, including four Examiner Experience Partners, working to support over 35,000 examiners and subject experts. What will I be doing?
As an Examiner Experience Partner (which internally is known as an Associate Experience Partner), y ou’ll build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and our associate community, using data insights to drive improvements in engagement, retention and compliance. You’ll lead on communications, support change initiatives, and ensure the associate voice is heard across AQA. With autonomy over your area, you’ll be trusted to deliver meaningful improvements that directly impact how our associates work with us.

Summary
Purpose:
The Associate Experience Partner role is critical to the building and maintenance of positive relationships with our associate community. This role works with the wider business teams to promote the consistent adoption of processes which promote associate engagement, retention, ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
As a member of the Associate Experience team, they are an SME in leveraging and influencing relationships with internal stakeholders and the associate partnerships created, to ensure the associate voice is represented across AQA. The Associate Experience Partner role also works in collaboration with Associate Experience Analyst and Associate Engagement and Communications Manager in order to utilise appropriate management information (MI) and data insights to evidence and drive continuous improvement in regards to the Associate ExperienceLandscape:
Each year AQA works with a community of around 39,000 Associates to design, produce, mark and award high-stakes qualifications for more than 1 million young people both in the UK and overseas. The majority of these examiners are qualified teachers and academics; responsible for marking student exam scripts to set mark schemes, enabling us to deliver results including GCSEs and A-Levels. Some use their expertise in curriculum design, assessment writing, and pedagogy to design and develop our specifications, our assessments, our CPD offering, and supporting our customer.
Our Associate Management team are responsible for the resourcing, contracting, on-boarding, and retention of this vital community. Working alongside internal departments such as Assessment Design, Assessment Production, Marking, Preparation, Moderations and Post-Results, our team ensures that requirements are captured, demand is forecasted, resource is made available, and that our Associates have a positive experience working with AQA.
Our team comprises of around 30 core colleagues, (which increases at times of peak activity) and is part of a wider department of around 50 including colleagues focused on providing services for all associate facing teams which includes Recruitment, Contracting & Fees, Associate Training, Process Development, and Associate Experience.

Activities:
• Using a strategic account management approach, work with members of the associate team and other business areas to pro-actively engage with the associate community, building positive and effective partnerships which support series delivery and drive retention and acquisition.
• Working with the wider business ensure that recruitment processes for non-maker adopted adhere to legal recommendations, the rotation of associates meets AQA guidance and that future associate capacity and capability across each subject avoids single points of failure.
• Working with the wider business teams to promote the consistent adoption of processes which promote associate engagement, retention, ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement. Support where relevant, escalated issues, to provide appropriate and timely resolution.
• Work with the wider business and across the associate team to manage change, implementing and embedding new policies and processes which support the associate strategy.
• Leverage and influence relationships with internal stakeholders and the associate partnerships created, to ensure the associate voice is represented across AQA to continuously improve the associate experience.
• Support the named business area with effective communication channels for associate engagement delivering the requirements of the associate communication and engagement plan.
• Work with the associate experience analyst and other colleagues in the associate team to utilise appropriate management information (MI) and data insights to evidence and drive continuous improvement with KPIs.
• Where business needs change, to undertake other responsibilities which are of a commensurate level outside the terms of this role profile.

• Experience and expertise in delivering good relationship management skills with people with different levels of seniority and experience.
