Craft Engineering Technician
Droitwich
Permanent contract: 4 on 4 off, days and nights between 6AM - 6PM / 6PM - 6AM
We are looking to recruit a Craft Engineering Technician to join our Droitwich dairy within our Muller Milk & Ingredients business. As a Craft Engineer you’ll provide a maintenance service to all plant/manufacturing equipment, with emphasis on the improved plant availability and reliability.
Key responsibilities as Craft Engineering Technician:
1. Be responsible for mechanical and basic electrical isolation
2. Carry out preventative and predictive maintenance activities
3. Bring new ideas to ensure continuous improvement and reliability of manufacturing equipment
4. Advise on engineering practice and maintenance issues within engineering
5. Participate/lead BDRs, SEA and RCA requirement as part of a team
What we’re looking for from a Craft Engineering Technician:
6. NVQ2 or equivalent in basic engineering
7. Relevant engineering experience
8. Excellent written and verbal English
9. Ability to problem solve
10. Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
11. Knowledge of health, safety, environmental and quality systems and procedures
12. Knowledge of a specific work task
13. Ability to work alone as well as in a team
