Job Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to work in Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership. The post will enhance the multidisciplinary team to deliver inpatient and community rehabilitation and support the development of new models of care with an integrated approach.
Candidate Profile
The team seeks an Occupational Therapist who is eager to develop an innovative and forward-looking service, promoting the value of Occupational Therapy through high-quality assessment and rehabilitation. Relevant experience in physical rehabilitation and an understanding of health and social care integration principles are essential. The candidate should be passionate about person-centred care and open communication. Support includes supervision, appraisal, and CPD opportunities.
Role Details
You will work collaboratively with individuals to provide Occupational Therapy interventions in their homes, communities, and inpatient settings.
Service Development
In line with NHS Tayside's strategic direction, Allied Health Professions are moving towards 7-day working for improved outcomes and equitable, person-centred care. New contracts will be for a 5 out of 7-day service/rota, preparing for a future 7-day service.
