Our client based in Peterborough is looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative. This is a general warehouse role involving a variety of tasks to support the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently. Working Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with the unloading of delivery vehicles in the morning.
* Handling and moving stock within the warehouse, including items that may weigh up to 20kg.
* Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
* Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring they are correctly labelled and packaged.
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
* Supporting general warehouse duties as required.
Requirements:
* Physically fit and capable of lifting items weighing up to 20kg.
* Good attention to detail when picking and packing orders.
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
* A reliable and punctual approach to work.
* Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
Pay rate:
* £12.21 per hour
