Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Channel Manager to drive business growth and manage distributor relationships across the Asia-Pacific region. This position plays a critical role in expanding market presence for advanced sensor technologies in both bioprocessing and industrial brewing applications.
The ideal candidate will develop strategic partnerships, optimize channel performance, and implement effective market entry strategies in this dynamic and rapidly evolving sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market presence through distributor networks
* Manage and grow existing distributor relationships while identifying new partnership opportunities
* Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and CRM management
* Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to key stakeholders
* Drive market awareness through participation in industry events and marketing initiatives
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop pricing strategies and go-to-market plans
* Ensure high customer satisfaction through effective post-sales support and relationship management
* Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends and opportunities across APAC markets
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related engineering field
* 5+ years of experience in channel management or business development within bioprocessing, life sciences, or industrial biotechnology sectors
* Proven track record of managing distributor networks across APAC markets
* Strong technical understanding of bioprocessing workflows or industrial brewing processes
* Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills with ability to work across cultures
* Business fluency in English; additional Asian languages highly advantageous
* Willingness to travel internationally 25-30% of the time
* Valid driving license
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced degree in relevant scientific or engineering discipline
* Experience with sensor technologies or process analytical systems
* Previous work in employee-owned organizations
