Warren Hills Community Primary School is looking for an exceptional Teaching Assistant.

Are you passionate about making a difference in children’s lives?

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive school community due to an exciting project that we are embarking upon. In this rewarding role, you will support the transition of children from our nurture class into mainstream classrooms, helping to ensure a smooth and positive experience. Working as part of a fabulous, child-centred team, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing environment where every child feels valued, supported and inspired to thrive.

The post will start as soon as possible. Initially a fixed term contract until the end of the academic year 2025/26, this will be reviewed in line with the school’s requirements for the academic year 2026/27.

The role could be based in any of the year groups across the school.

The Salary

Grade 6 £25,995-£26,409(actual 0.6303 FTE £16,384 -£16,645).

The Hours

27.25 hours per week 39 weeks per year

8.48-12.00 and 1.00-3.15

Warren Hills is a single form entry school. We are a friendly and caring community school that has developed a nurturing approach across the different phases of the school. We are proud to have an attached nursery and self-funded nurture class. There is a strong focus on mental health and wellbeing, having a counselling service in school alongside ELSA counsellors and a Family Support Worker. We hold the National Nurturing Schools Award. Staff and children have strong links with local primary schools within the Coalville Collaborative group of schools.
