We are seeking a Planning/Sales Administration Supervisor to join a growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day to day activities of the planning and Sales Administration teams ensuring effective production scheduling and outstanding customer service. In this role you will balance customer demand, operational capability and drive accuracy across the planning and administration departments.
Duties
* Supervise the Sales Administration team ensuring that customer orders, enquiries and quotations are processed accurately
* Monitor orders, lead times, delivery dates informing customers of any issues
* Liaise with internal departments (production, warehouse, dispatch) to ensure customer requirements are met in a timely manner
* Handle escalated customer issues
* Ensure that orders are entered correctly onto the system (ERP/MRP system)
* Support the commercial and account management teams with accurate data and communication
* Maintain customer records, pricing and documentation in line with company policy
* Production Planning and Scheduling
* Review of daily and weekly production output
* Supervising a small team of planners and administrators
Skills
* Previous supervisory or team lead experience is preferred (Able to motivate/lead a team)
* Experienced in using ERP/MRP systems
* A good understanding of production, logistics or manufacturing environments
* A proactive and solutions driven approach
* High Attention to detail and strong problem solving skills
* Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in planning, production coordination or sales administration
