Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (30-minute break)
£13.23 per hour

The Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Motor Claims Handler to join a busy and supportive team based in Dunstable. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and attention to detail who is looking to secure a long-term position.
You will be responsible for managing motor claims from initial report through to settlement, ensuring a cost-effective and timely resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Liaising with third parties, solicitors, drivers and insurers via phone, email and written correspondence
2. Taking accident details from the scene and accurately logging claims
3. Uploading and managing claims on internal systems
4. Authorising repairs for third party vehicles
5. Raising and processing payments related to claims
6. Managing incoming post, including cheques, in line with internal procedures
7. Chasing third party insurers for updates and outstanding costs
8. Following up with drivers for accident report forms and supporting evidence (e.g. photos)
9. Identifying and escalating potentially fraudulent claims
10. Investigating unreported claims
11. Managing workload to ensure timely and cost-effective claim resolution
12. Supporting general administration tasks, including scanning and file management
