This is an unusual `Hybrid¿ position and will be an interesting and varied role for the right candidate.Thera East Anglia have secured some funding through Norfolk¿s MSIF (Market Sustainability & Improvement Fund). This funding will be used to improve Workforce Capacity and Retention Measures which lead to sustainability and improvement within Norfolk¿s Adult Social Care market.We would like to use some of this funding to find a new Community Support Leader who can support the development of new Supported Living & Floating Support around Norwich but also, have a focus on recruitment and support Thera East Anglia with their recruitment needs.Although this is a fixed term contract, it is likely that the position could become permanent.You will gather information about each of our Support Locations and the people we support¿s `Ideal Support Worker¿ and work closely with our Recruitment and Resourcing Department ensuring that bespoke, person centred adverts advertising job roles are created.You will then monitor applicants against each of our adverts and be the first point of contact before passing details onto the relevant Location Managers to take forward.This is a very important position and will ensure that the speed of which we are able to process applicants is much better. What experience do I need? To become a Community Support Leader, you will need to demonstrate previous experience working at a supervisory level within the social care sector.You¿ll need great communication skills and be able lead a team.You¿ll be computer literate, be able to understand & manage budgets, show initiative and be comfortable when it comes to problem solving. 16. Line management and supervision of Support & Senior Support staff.
17. Overseeing the day-to-day running of Supported Living Houses and Floating Support.
18. Leading and promoting high quality outcome focused support.
19. Quality Assurance and themed audits
20. Liaising with other people and professionals involved in the support
21. Providing on call support and assistance when required.
22. Leading on Resourcing & Recruitment within Thera East Anglia
To be successful in the role you will need to evidence the following skills and qualities:
23. Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities.
24. Knowledge of person-centred support planning, risk assessment and rota management.
25. Strong track record of achieving outcomes for individuals.
26. IT skills
27. Experience of `Iplanit¿ is desirable but not essential.
28. A high degree of knowledge around CQC and Safeguarding standards
29. A patient, calm & unflappable approach
30. You must have effective communication skills as you will be first point of contact for applicants and, be responsible for building and leading a team of Support Workers.
31. The ability to effectively plan and prioritise your workload is essential.
32. You will have a proven track record of working across multi-site locations.
