The Role
You will take ownership of a high value portfolio on the CP7 Eastern Routes Partnership (ERP) Framework. The framework is to provide a multitude of minor works and civils packages across the country. This project alone will help excel your career, giving you the opportunity to gain broad, all-encompassing exposure as a quantity surveyor, while also extending your experience through involvement in high-profile projects across the wider business
Work will include:
* Contract administration under the Main Contract and Subcontracts
* Support the team with management of subcontract payment notices in accordance with statutory and company requirements
* Assist in the preparation of periodic cost/value reconciliation reports
* Identify risks and opportunities in the administration of commercial processes upstream and downstream
* Monitoring of planned vs actual cost across disciplines (Labour, Plant, Material, and Subcontract)
* Timely issue of contractual notices and quotations under the project
* First principles estimating
About You
* Quantity Surveying experience within the construction sectors
* Excellent attitude and willingness to learn and develop is a must
* NEC contract experience is desirable
* Rail or Framework experience is desirable
* Can commute to Ashford, Kent 2 days a week
