Customer & Operations Support Assistant
Contract to Perm - £15-18 per hour
Stockton On Tees - Onsite Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a dynamic Customer & Operations Support Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day and thrives in both customer-facing and hands-on environments.
If you’re organised, practical, and comfortable being taught basic technology fixes this could be the perfect fit. You do not need any experience except great customer service and administration skills to do this role - everything else will be taught!
The Role
You’ll be involved in three key areas:
Customer Service & Administration
* Communicating with eBay customers to resolve enquiries and issues
* Arranging courier shipments and collections
* Managing customer returns and repair requests
* Using Microsoft Excel and Teams daily
Stock Control
* Conducting regular stock checks
* Ensuring physical inventory matches system records and eBay listings
* Maintaining accurate inventory data
Technical Repair Work - That will be Taught!
* Diagnosing faults
* Replacing faulty components
* Testing equipment to ensure it is fully operational and ready for reuse
About You
* Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
* Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and Teams
* Organised with good attention to detail
* Practical and hands-on, with an interest in troubleshooting or repairs
* Experience in customer service, stock control, or technical repair is beneficial — but full training will be provided
