Nursery Practitioner Opportunity

About Us
We are a well-established nursery providing a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children aged 6 months to 5 years. Our mission is to deliver high-quality care and early years education, ensuring every child has the opportunity to flourish.
Your Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role within our team, working alongside experienced colleagues to create a nurturing and inspiring setting for the children. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering age-appropriate activities, supporting personal care routines, assisting with mealtimes, and fostering a warm and positive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
* Monitor, assess, and record children’s development and progress.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with children and their parents or carers.
* Ensure the nursery environment remains safe, clean, and hygienic at all times.
* Support children’s emotional well-being, offering comfort and reassurance when needed.
* Work collaboratively with the wider team to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience
* A minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or an equivalent qualification.
* Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred.
* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine passion for early childhood development.
Working Hours
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 6.00 pm.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
