Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO)Location: Carlisle | Rate: £46 per hour

The Role
As an IRO, you will play a critical role in the quality assurance of care planning for children in care. You will:
* Chair statutory reviews and ensure that the voice of the child is central to all decision-making.
* Monitor the performance of the local authority's functions in relation to a child's case.
* Challenge practice where necessary to ensure the highest standards of care and protection.
* Collaborate with social workers, families, and partner agencies to drive positive outcomes.

Requirements
