Role Overview
Deputy Payroll Manager within NHS Highland, based in Assynt House, Inverness. The role requires specialist knowledge of NHS Terms & Conditions of service, local agreements and statutory legislation, and focuses on driving improvements to maximise efficiency and effectiveness while ensuring value for money.
Responsibilities
• Drive improvements to payroll processes and projects
• Lead on projects and initiatives
• Deputise for the Payroll Manager in local, regional and national forums or project groups
Qualifications
* Professional payroll qualification or relevant demonstrable experience
* Proven leadership skills
* Strong customer‑service ethic and ability to handle queries from both internal and external bodies
