Description
* Develop and implement process safety management systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
* Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis to identify and mitigate potential safety issues.
* Provide technical guidance to engineering teams on safety protocols and best practices.
* Lead incident investigations and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and maintain a culture of safety.
* Oversee training programmes to ensure staff are equipped with necessary safety knowledge.
* Monitor and report on process safety performance metrics to senior management.
* Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
Profile
* Degree in engineering, safety management, or a related field.
* Proven expertise in process safety within the energy and natural resources industry.
* Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
* Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to lead and influence cross‑functional teams effectively.
* Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
Job Offer
* Competitive salary ranging from £90,000 to £100,000 per annum.
* £5,800 car allowance.
* Permanent position based in Reading with no mandatory site days – you can decide where you work from.
