Qualifications
Essential criteria:
* HCPC Registration
* Evidence of C.P.D
* BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy Degree
Desirable criteria:
* Member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
* Member of CSP special interest group
* Postgraduate study/training related to older people and frailty
Experience
Essential criteria:
* Evidence of working with frail patients with complex needs requiring advanced clinical reasoning
* Broad experience at band 5 level within the NHS, including rehabilitation
* Effective supervision of junior staff
* Supervising students
Desirable criteria:
* Involvement in/leading QI projects
* Experience in a community setting
Technical skills/competencies
Essential criteria:
* Ability to assess, manage & treat elderly patients with multi-pathology conditions
* Recognize a deteriorating patient
* Skills in goal setting & evaluating outcomes
* Problem-solving skills
