Role
As Lead Designer, you'll be at the heart of their design team. With at least 5 years' Tekla experience, you'll take ownership of design development while guiding and mentoring others. Your expertise will ensure our projects meet the highest technical standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements - all while fostering collaboration across design, engineering, and installation teams.
Responsibilities
* Leading design development from concept through to final approval.
* Managing and supporting a team of designers, encouraging best practice.
* Collaborating with engineering, production, and site teams to deliver efficient solutions.
* Reviewing and signing off drawings and technical documents.
* Solving design challenges and providing clear, practical solutions.
* Sharing expertise and mentoring junior colleagues.
* Driving continuous improvement in design processes and standards.
Qualifications
* Tekla Structures (5+ years' experience).
* Proven ability to lead design teams and manage complex projects.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* A proactive, collaborative approach with an eye for detail.
* Passion for innovation and continuous professional growth.
* Must drive due to the office location.
