Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: SK2 - Stockport Pay Rates: £13.69 - £15.87 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm Contract: Full-time, Long-term (ASAP start) Reeson Education are looking for a compassionate and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary SEN provision in the SK2 area. This full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting difference to pupils in KS2 with additional and complex needs. The Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils with ASD, SEMH, communication differences, and learning challenges. You'll help deliver interventions, assist in lessons, and create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Teaching Assistant responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and group support for pupils with additional needs. Assist the teacher in delivering adapted and accessible learning activities. Support with emotional regulation and behaviour management. Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff. Encourage independence and confidence in learning. Teaching Assistant requirements: Experience working with children with SEN in a school setting. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential). Patience, empathy, and resilience.
