HGV Class 1 Day Driver Needed - Immediate Start
Location: Pineham, Northampton
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts
Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour (PAYE only, excludes holiday pay which is paid separately)
Pure Staff is recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Day Driver for ongoing work. Candidates do not pay weekly umbrella margins or payroll processing fees.
Requirements include:
* Site induction, driving assessment, and drug & alcohol test (must pass all three)
* Valid HGV C+E License
* At least 2 years’ experience
* Valid CPC and Digital Cards
* Clean license with no more than 6 points (no TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes)
Responsibilities include:
* RDC trunking and store deliveries
* Assisting with unloading trailers (handball)
* Driving modern, well-maintained trucks
* Performing daily vehicle checks
* Maintaining professionalism with customers
* Wearing PPE (safety boots and Hi-Vis) at all times
Start times vary between 06:00 and 09:00. Shifts may last 10 to 12 hours, in compliance with tachograph law.
Immediate temporary work available for a client specializing in RDC and store deliveries across the UK, based in Northampton. The client is known for treating drivers well.
