We're seeking a Supplier Manager to play a central role in driving supplier performance and delivering key business-wide initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Operations and Supplier Relationships, this will be a hands on, delivery focused role responsible for managing supplier engagement, driving high priority projects and ensuring cross-functional initiatives are delivered successfully.
Key Details
Act as the operational lead for key supplier relationships, driving performance, engagement and delivery of cross-business initiatives.
Manage risks and escalations, collaborating with internal teams where appropriate to resolve them effectively
Support with the successful integration of supplier products and services into business operations and broker journeys
Lead and support high-priority supplier related projects, ensuring progress, accountability and successful delivery
Maintain oversight of project progress, supporting accountability and escalation where required
Identify opportunities for process improvements to drive operational efficiency, executing initiatives to deliver tangible business impact
Contribute to revenue-generating projects, including new propositions, product enhancements and marketing initiatives
Collaborate with sales to ensure supplier products are positioned effectively and supported operationally
Work with suppliers to identify opportunities that improve broker value and commercial performance
Build strong cross-functional relationships and provide structured insights, updates and recommendations to the commercial partnership
based on supplier performance, project progress and risk escalation
Represent OnlineDIRECT in both on and off site supplier meetings and forums, ensuring alignment with commercial Partnership priorities
Key Requirements
Strong background working with external partners, suppliers, or product providers in a delivery focused capacity
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them through to completion
Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and suppliers
Strong organisational, communication and problem solving skills
Confident and proactive, able to work independently and collaborate effectively across all internal teams
Full UK driving licence and access to a car required
Previous experience setting and managing KPIs or supplier service performance frameworks or leading business improvement initiatives or
efficiency projects an advantage
Experience in energy, utilities, financial services, platforms, aggregators or SaaS environments highly desirable
Experience leading a small team would be a bonus
