SEN Teaching Assistant - Team Teach Trained Location: Manchester Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time Salary: £100 - £130 per day Job Responsibilities: * Provide support to the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and managing student behaviour * Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs (SEN) * Offer reading and writing support to students who require additional assistance * Support the teacher in maintaining classroom discipline and encouraging positive behaviour * Provide 1:1/group interventions * Monitor students' progress Required Qualifications: * Team Teach trained Experience: * Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant * Experience working with students with challenging behaviour and SEN * Alternation Provision or specialist school experience is beneficial Knowledge and Skills: * Strong understanding of young people with behavioural difficulties and SEN * Excellent behavioural management skills * Ability to effectively manage a classroom environment * Familiarity with alternative provisions and specialist schools Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
