Responsibilities
* Providing health and safety advice and guidance to managers and staff
* Carrying out health and safety audits and inspections across departments
* Reviewing and maintaining risk assessments, including fire risk assessments
* Investigating accidents and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements (RIDDOR)
* Supporting the development and implementation of health and safety policies
* Delivering health and safety training and inductions
* Organising fire drills and supporting emergency procedures
* Monitoring accident data and identifying trends to improve safety
We are looking for someone who has experience working in a health and safety role and is confident working with colleagues at all levels. You will have strong communication and organisational skills and a proactive approach to improving safety standards.
Qualifications
* Level 3 qualification in Health and Safety
* Level 2 English, Maths and IT
* First Aid qualification
* Full clean driving licence
* Experience carrying out risk assessments
* Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
Desirable Qualifications
* Experience within the education sector
* Experience in health and safety auditing

Working Hours
Normal working hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday, although occasional evening or weekend work may be required for events (time off in lieu will be provided).
