Manufacturer Recall Technician Stellantis Vehicles Upper Heyford (Bicester, Oxfordshire) LocationUpper Heyford, Bicester (Workshop-based)Assignment LengthApprox. 900 hours totalFull-timeTemporary, on-goingWorking HoursMonday to Friday8 hours per dayPay RatesLevel 2: £13.50 per hourLevel 3: £17.16 per hourJob PurposeTo carry out manufacturer recall campaigns on Stellantis vehicles, ensuring all work is completed accurately, safely, and in line with manufacturer and company standards. The role includes software updates, inspections, and light mechanical work.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete manufacturer recall work across Stellantis brands including Peugeot, Citron, Vauxhall, DS and FiatPerform software updates and reprogramming using approved diagnostic systemsCarry out inspections and minor checks as specified in recall instructionsUndertake light mechanical work such as component replacement, adjustments, and basic repairsFollow recall bulletins, technical instructions, and quality standards preciselyAccurately complete all documentation, job cards, and system updatesConduct post-work checks to ensure all recall actions are completed correctlyMaintain a clean, safe, and organised working environmentAdhere to all Health and Safety proceduresReport any issues, delays, or technical concerns to the supervisorSkills and ExperienceEssential:Basic mechanical or automotive experienceConfidence using computer-based systemsStrong attention to detailAbility to follow technical instructionsReliable, punctual, and able to work independentlyDesirable:Previous manufacturer recall experienceExperience working with Stellantis vehiclesNVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)Full UK driving licenceTrainingFull on-site training providedOngoing support from experienced technicians and supervisorsHealth and SafetyMust comply with all Health and Safety regulations at all timesUse of PPE is mandatory where requiredResponsible for reporting hazards or safety concerns immediatelyAdditional InformationA large portion of the work involves cambelt replacements.
