With over 60yrs in the Truck and Van rental hire industry Tilly Hire is a local business supplying Vehicles from Small vans – 26 tonne trucks for hire locally and nationally. Customers are at the heart of our business and every hire is treated as bespoke with members of the ‘Tilly Family’ doing all we can to meet the customer need. We are ever exploring new areas of the industry and are constantly evolving as we grow. Reporting to the General Manager, As a Hire Consultant you will develop exceptional relationships with customers, giving them the best vehicle hire experience. You’ll support face-to-face queries, telephone and email queries, process orders in the system and perform various administrative tasks • Assist with basic Accounting, Office and administrative tasks • Working out of our depot, you will handle customer queries over the phone, email, and face to face • Embrace sales initiatives across the fleet, building strong customer relationships and maintain a high standard of vehicle presentation and service. • Maintain professional standards of product knowledge and providing support to our customers looking to get the correct product • Carrying out inspections of vehicles before and after each hire to ensure equipment reliable and safe • Excellent Numeracy and literacy skills • A willingness to work and learn • A can-do attitude • Driving license preferrable but not essential • Customer service skills Salary 18-20 Yrs per hour 21+ per hour Closing date 02/02/2026hours 40hrs per week
