Role Overview
We are looking for 4 Controls Engineers to work on SCADA Systems design & integration for a variety of flagship projects including the design of remote terminal units for the field / front end. With multiple positions and various projects ongoing, tasks include SCADA design, HMI design, configuring & building function blocks for the RTUs or PLC programming with Mitsubishi PLCs.
Essential Requirements
* SCADA design experience: pulling together the I/O schedules, generating design reports, design drawings, schematics, schedules, documentation, writing of test specifications or physical testing from test specs.
* Understanding of SCADA/HMI systems (either Codra Panorama or Mitsubishi Iconics) for the front end, configuring & building function blocks for the RTUs.
* Working knowledge of Mitsubishi PLCs (iQ‑R, iQ‑F/S or Q Series) and their integration within SCADA systems.
Desirable Requirements
* Experience working with RTUs within power or infrastructure environments, including exposure to systems such as Siemens, Telent, or ABB.
* Understanding of rail or traction power environments (e.g. Network Rail, Tyne & Wear Metro), including how end clients operate and manage control systems.
* Ability to develop and execute test strategies, including integration of RTUs and PLCs (e.g. Mitsubishi iQ‑R).
* Creation of FAT/SAT documentation.
* Production of design and test documentation.
* Customer facing experience.
