IT Assembly & Configuration Technician
Were looking for 2 proactive individuals to join our clients growing team, working in a fast-paced production environment assembling self-checkout systems and cashpoint machines and performing light IT configuration. If you enjoy working with your hands, have a keen eye for detail, and are comfortable around tech, this could be a great fit for you.
What Youll Be Doing:
This role is approximately 90% hardware / 10% software, and includes:
* Assembling self-checkout units and related hardware components
* Basic IT configuration, such as installing operating systems or software images
* Testing and troubleshooting hardware to ensure everything works as expected
* Following build instructions and maintaining accurate documentation
* Collaborating with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
* Maintaining safety and quality standards throughout the process
What Were Looking For:
* Hands-on experience with hardware assembly or similar technical work
* Comfortable with basic IT tasks (e.g., imaging, software installs)
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
* Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
* Able to lift and move equipment as needed
* A team player with clear communication skills
