Benji Physio started to offer women's health services two years ago and has seen a constant growth in its case load. We now have a vacancy for a specialist WH physio to take over and help us boost our service.
Physio Care
The role will consist of providing specialist women health physio care. You will conduct assessment for general WH conditions including pelvis dysfunction, ante/post natal care, prolapse and incontinence issues, pelvic pain. You should be able to work independently and deliver high-quality tailored treatment solutions through education, manual therapy and exercise prescription to achieve great outcomes, whilst respecting all relevant professional and ethical guidelines specific to women’s health care.
Services Development and Growth
You will have the opportunity to help with the development and expansion of our Women Health service within Fife. This will consist of maintaining and reinforcing the relationships with local GPs, consultants and other AHPs; participating in the production of emails and social media content; developing new treatment programmes such as classes or workshops. You will not be expected to take on this administrative role on your own. This is a team project within which you will have an active role.
Personal Professional Development
You will be expected to be pro-active towards your own CPD and look for opportunities to maintain and develop your specialist skills by attending workshops, online courses, conferences relevant to your practice. You must all time be aware of and work within HCPC standards.
Working at Benji Physio
You will be part of a team of physiotherapists, sports and massage therapist providing mainly MSK and sports care to the population of Fife. We value great patient care and exceptional outcomes. We offer a lot of support to our team to achieve these outcomes through weekly one-to-one meetings, team meetings, CPD time at the clinic and contribution towards course/conferences cost. Whilst very busy, we offer flexible working conditions allowing our staff to manage their clinical and clerical diaries effectively.
The position is part-time (at least 15H hours). Employed or self-employed.
Employed full-time contract is available if you can take on MSK patients until the WH caseload grows sufficiently for a full-time post.
Salary will depend on experience (but will be superior to NHS banding at your level of experience).
On top of the normal legal requirements, employed staff benefit from private healthcare cover and performance bonus scheme.
We are NOT able to offer sponsorship for this role. You MUST have at least 2 years of experience of WH physiotherapy work in the UK.
