Financial Administrator

Location: The Springs Care Home, Spring Lane, Malvern WR14 1AL

Contract: Permanent, Full-time (Mon‑Fri 9am‑5pm)

Salary: £27,198 – £34,634.50 (dependent on experience and qualifications)


Responsibilities

* Raise invoices, process income including cash allocation and banking, and manage debt collection actions.
* Coordinate with local and health authorities to secure payments and relevant information.
* Ensure accurate documentation, such as Terms and Conditions, for all admissions.
* Safeguard residents’ money and funds raised by the home, reconciling transactions to bank statements.
* Administer purchasing and supplier payments, managing petty cash and replenishment.
* Process employee payroll to ensure accurate and timely staff payments.
* Provide clerical support to the Home Manager, including letter writing, memos, and local management reporting.
* Maintain an organised filing system, stationary supplies, and personnel file management.


Qualifications

• Experience as a Financial Administrator with strong customer‑service skills.

• Friendly manner in face‑to‑face and telephone interactions.

• Approachable, organised, detail‑oriented with strong relationship‑building skills.

• Dedicated, efficient, capable of handling a varied workload with a caring attitude.
