Reporting to the Head of Non-Financial Reporting, Group Sustainable Finance, the Senior Finance Manager - Non-Financial Reporting will lead the consolidation of the Group's reporting and planning processes for non-financial metrics, supported by effective processes, controls, and governance frameworks to achieve Bupa's sustainability goals. You will be a key business partner, working closely with Group Sustainability and other stakeholders across Bupa, supporting the delivery of Savannah27 and Better World priorities, as well as measurement and reporting.
You will also support the implementation of relevant Group sustainability regulatory reporting requirements, including the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and International Sustainability Standards Board.
How you'll help us make health happen:
1. Produce regular non-financial reporting for Bupa.
2. Contribute to the development of internal KPIs to monitor and evaluate Bupa's environmental performance.
3. Prepare relevant external disclosures and reporting for the annual report and accounts, AGM, and website content.
4. Support the Director in delivering inputs to the Board Sustainability Committee and other governance bodies.
5. Act as a change catalyst, working with teams and stakeholders to improve non-financial reporting processes.
6. Collaborate with Sustainability, Legal, Risk, and Finance to implement changes to external reporting and interpret technical standards.
7. Generate executive management information to provide insights into performance for decision-making.
8. Serve as the point of contact with external assurance firms for the annual global assurance process of key non-financial metrics.
9. Provide strong business partnering to Group Sustainability and other stakeholders.
10. Support efforts to decarbonize our value chain via science-based targets, collaborating across teams.
11. Ensure consolidation of Group-wide planning and forecasting for non-financial metrics, integrating sustainability into broader reporting and decision-making activities.
Qualifications and experience required include a finance qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent), experience managing a team responsible for reporting and analysis, knowledge of sustainability reporting standards (e.g., CSRD/ISSB), and GHG reporting experience (desirable). Strong communication, stakeholder management, and a structured approach to work are essential, along with enthusiasm and the ability to turn ideas into action.
