Overview
Role purpose: The purpose of this role is to optimise sales performance and enable data driven decision making by ensuring accurate tracking of digital service bookings, maintaining CRM data integrity and supporting the sales team with critical operational tasks. The role will provide actionable insights through data analysis, customer profiling and pipeline evaluation to identify high value opportunities, enhance targeting strategies and streamline sales processes. By combining analytical techniques with operational support this position will help drive revenue growth, improve sales efficiency and strengthen customer engagement. As an apprenticeship opportunity, this role offers an excellent entry point for an individual to gain hands on experience in sales operations and data analysis, while developing key professional skills, learning industry best practices and building a strong foundation for a future career in sales and business analytics.
Responsibilities
* Ownership for tracking Digital Services bookings against targets
* Proactively drive Sales Hub data accuracy for Digital Services opportunities
* Support Digital Sales Specialists with generation of contracts and order forms including liaising with product team on bespoke service requirements
* Implement and support data collection and analysis of target customers and markets using CRM tooling and/or relevant software
* Identify and support transformation strategies that profile customer data for targeted campaigns
* Perform data analysis across customer and prospect pipeline including informing key stakeholders of potential opportunities for market development (e.g., Product management and senior leadership)
* Use data platforms and our customer penetration data to identify new opportunities to support framework growth within public and private sector
* Working with the Data and Market Intelligence Analyst in central SCC to develop a tailored and enriched data set aimed at driving campaign leads into SCC Digital services
* Support the Product Team with the development of a data insights platform to visualise service, customer and financial metrics
* All other duties as required to support the role
Qualifications
* A to C in three A-Levels including in an IT related subject (or equivalent)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Strong attention to detail
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment

Role: Sales Operations & Data Executive
Location: Manchester (SCC operate hybrid working, which comprises of a mix of office and home working)
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary Package: Competitive salary plus large company benefits, a broad flexible benefits scheme, and 2 paid-for volunteering days a year
Hours: 9.00 am - 5.30 pm Monday - Friday
