The Role: The Lead Generator role sits at the very start of the commercial sales journey and plays a critical part in the success of the wider business. This is an entry-level sales role, but it is fast-paced and target-driven. You will spend a large part of your day speaking to UK businesses, identifying opportunities, gathering accurate information, and creating qualified opportunities that can be progressed by our Corporate Pricing team. Attitude, resilience and consistency are more important than experience. You will be coached, supported and expected to improve over time. What You Will Be Doing Day to Day: ☎️ Making high-volume outbound calls to UK businesses ️ Speaking with gatekeepers and decision makers to start commercial conversations Requesting, collecting and validating commercial energy bills (gas, electricity and water) Asking structured questions to understand renewal dates, suppliers, usage and decision-making processes Accurately recording all activity and information in our CRM system (HubSpot) Passing fully qualified, pricing-ready opportunities to the Corporate Pricing team Working towards daily, weekly and monthly activity, quality and revenue targets from day one Working closely with your Team Manager and colleagues to improve call quality and results What We are Looking For: Confidence speaking to new people on the phone Resilience and the ability to keep going when conversations don’t land A target-driven mindset and willingness to be coached Good organisation and attention to detail, especially with dates and numbers Basic IT skills and willingness to learn CRM systems ⚡ A strong work ethic and genuine desire to earn commission What You Will Get: £25,000 to £28,000 basic salary (DOE) Commission paid under an unrivalled clear, structured scheme Realistic OTE of £30,000 to £40,000 Full training, ongoing coaching and support Clear progression opportunities into Senior Lead Generator and Energy Consultant roles Time off during the festive period Private Medical with Vitality Team days out and incentives Plus lots, lots more in the pipeline Final Call to Action: If you want to start a career in sales where effort is recognised, expectations are clear and progression is achievable, we would like to hear from you.
