Join our team as the EMEA Regional Accounting Controller, key role within our Global Acounting Centre. In the this role you will oversee accounting processes and controls across the EMEA region, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and regulatory standards. Leading local EMEA Accounting teams, you will drive standardisation, centralisation, and operational improvements while collaborating with key stakeholders across finance, audit, tax, treasury, and IT. This role involves regular travel across Europe to engage with regional teams and stakeholders. How you'll make an impact Supervise EMEA Accounting teams in the financial close process Ensure adherence to US GAAP and Corporate close timelines and policies, while also meeting local regulatory requirements Liaise with Global Accounting and Audit teams to ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements Oversight of compliance with local regulatory environment, including monitoring submission of regulatory returns and Client Money activities Assistance in preparation of Finance materials for local country board meetings Co-ordinate Treasury Accounting activities with the local finance teams, including dividend approvals and cashflow forecasting Work with Global SOX and local finance teams to ensure compliance Actively participate in the ongoing implementation of corporate financial systems in the region (JD Edwards GL / Circulus AP / Concur T&E / Kyriba Treasury) Lead, develop and recruit, where necessary, accounting professionals to support the regional and global accounting teams Drive cross-functional initiatives and serve as a liaison between corporate and regional teams Deliver evaluations and projects on time, within agreed budget About You Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ICAS, CIMA, CA, or equivalent). Proven experience in a similar role with a strong track record of success. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a large, complex corporate environment. Extensive management experience, including leading and motivating remote teams. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and resolve challenges effectively. Flexibility and willingness to travel across Europe, approximately 20% of the time Eligible to work in the UK.
