Senior Water Engineering Opportunities – Manchester
An employee-owned civil and environmental consultancy has recently opened a new office in Manchester and is building a water engineering team. The company is seeking experienced engineers to help shape and lead this next phase of growth.
There is a strong pipeline of work with local water authorities, covering stormwater drainage, flood risk, and SuDS. This role offers the opportunity to build and grow a team in a new region, supported by an established consultancy.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead and deliver projects in highways drainage, flood alleviation, and SuDS design.
* Design and model water management systems and hydraulic networks.
* Conduct site assessments and identify opportunities for SuDS implementation.
* Produce drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D and prepare technical reports.
Requirements:
* Experience in storm water drainage or SuDS design.
* Strong CAD skills (Civil 3D preferred).
* Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
