Role: Press Brake Setter/ Operator Location: Dudley Working Hours: Monday to Thursday- 1pm to 10pm (30-Minute break), Friday- 12pm to 6pm (No break) Pay Rate: £14.50ph Are you a skilled Press Brake Setter/Operator with a passion for precision engineering and a strong mechanical background? Pertemps Dudley Industrial are working in partnership with a well-established, forward-thinking manufacturing company based in Dudley. We’re currently looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join their growing team, operating Bystronic Press Brake Machines on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate Bystronic CNC press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets with precision. Work from detailed engineering drawings, blueprints, and customer specifications to ensure accuracy. Select and install correct tooling based on material type and thickness. Conduct quality control checks on finished parts using measuring equipment to ensure compliance. Adjust machine settings and troubleshoot issues as required to maintain production efficiency. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in accordance with health and safety policies. Collaborate with the wider production team to meet deadlines and maintain high standards. Key Requirements: Proven experience setting and operating CNC Press Brake Machines (Bystronic). Strong understanding of engineering drawings and schematics. Excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced production team. Counterbalance Forklift License (Desirable).
