Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a growing engineering and fabrication organisation based in North Wales, who are seeking to appoint an experienced Head of Finance to join the team on an initial 12-18 month maternity cover contract.
This is a hands-on role where you will report directly to the business owners/managing directors, while also managing a Finance Administrator. The position has a strong focus on payroll, cashflow management, budgeting and forecasting, alongside overseeing the day-to-day running of the finance function.

Job Duties:
* Produce monthly management accounts and reporting packs, including variance analysis
* Lead on payroll, ensuring accuracy and HMRC compliance
* Manage cashflow forecasting and working capital
* Prepare budgets, quarterly reforecasts, and financial plans
* Deliver monthly revenue forecasts and quarterly board packs
* Complete month-end postings and manage the month-end close
* Oversee year-end close and liaise with external accountants for statutory accounts
* Submit quarterly VAT returns and ensure compliance
* Approve supplier payments and oversee reconciliations
