Job Description
Fantastic opportunity for a Senior Architect to join a large, rapidly growing multi-disciplinary company operating in varied sectors, based in Coventry, West Midlands, on a permanent basis. The company offers hybrid working, with 2-3 days in the office and the rest from home.
THE COMPANY: The company is a large-scale multi-disciplinary practice with approximately 70 staff, including Architects, Technologists, Project Managers, Mechanical & Electrical Engineers, Surveyors, and more. Established over 10 years ago, they have developed a stellar reputation with a diverse portfolio across sectors such as Healthcare, Education, Commercial, Office Space, Industrial, Manufacturing, Retail, and others.
The company heavily invests in Revit software, and proficiency in this area is essential for this position. Hybrid working is available, and fully remote positions may be considered depending on location. The office is based in Coventry, but candidates in the Midlands, especially near Gloucester, Bristol, and Bath, will also be considered due to ongoing projects along the M5 corridor.
THE ROLE - SENIOR ARCHITECT: The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of post-qualification experience. You will work on projects throughout their full lifecycle, from concept to completion, covering RIBA stages 0-7. Experience in sectors such as Healthcare and Education is highly desirable, though not essential. Revit proficiency and BIM Level 2 experience are required.
You should have job running experience and the confidence to lead small teams, mentoring junior staff as needed. Projects range from small £500k fit-outs to large £800m hospital developments, so flexibility and readiness for various project scales are important.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
* Fully qualified Architect with UK-recognized Part 1, 2, and 3 qualifications
* ARB registered
* Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience (consideration for others with different experience)
* Experience in varied sectors, especially Healthcare & Education
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
* Experience working at BIM Level 2 is advantageous
* Job running experience is essential
WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME? The successful candidate will receive a salary in the region of £46,000-£52,000, negotiable based on experience, along with hybrid working, generous holiday allowance, private healthcare, and more.
