The Role
* As a core member of the Data and Technology Team, the Infrastructure Delivery Lead will oversee the delivery of Building Infrastructure Projects across our Retail assets.
Location
This role is based in London, Victoria, with a hybrid working arrangement. The majority of the workweek will be in the office. We recommend discussing your working arrangements with the hiring manager.
The Team
* This position reports to the Data and Tech Change Portfolio Director and involves travel across multiple sites nationwide.
Responsibilities
1. Define technical requirements and collaborate with suppliers to develop the delivery roadmap.
2. Act as a key interface among technical teams, stakeholders, and external vendors.
3. Provide technical input and challenge proposals to ensure high-quality outcomes.
4. Translate complex technical concepts into clear updates for non-technical stakeholders.
5. Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and ensure smooth handover to support teams.
6. Define project scope, objectives, success criteria, KPIs, and tracking methods.
7. Predict and manage resources effectively to meet project objectives.
8. Prepare and monitor budgets based on scope and resource needs.
9. Develop and manage project schedules and work plans.
10. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on strategy, progress, and adjustments.
11. Manage vendor contracts and communicate deliverables.
12. Utilize industry best practices throughout project execution.
13. Monitor progress, make adjustments, and measure performance for improvement.
14. Ensure accurate and timely status reporting.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience as an Infrastructure Delivery Lead or Project Manager within the built environment.
* Successful management of both small and large-scale projects.
* Experience working within value streams and Centres of Excellence, aligning projects with business strategy.
* Management of Technical & M&E Projects.
* Experience delivering Wi-Fi, digital, and wayfinding projects.
* PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
* Technical systems and business project delivery experience.
* Creative problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency with project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
* Experience delivering customer-facing services and pilots with measurable success.
This is a fixed-term contract role for 11 months.
