We are looking for a motivated graduate to join our Enable Inclusion Team (EIT), as an Assistant Psychologist.

37 hours per week, 5 days a week, All year round. Fixed term contract until 31st August 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the team supporting both the Specialist Practitioner and Service Lead, and the Specialist Psychologist, to deliver DNA-V coaching services for children and staff in schools in South Gloucestershire. This is a two-year project funded as part of the South West NHSI Vanguard Programme *.

The successful candidate will participate in the delivery and development of the service as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, to include involvement in clinical activity, audit and evaluation of the service, outcome evaluation and governance.

The main duties are to:

1. Provide coaching support, under psychological supervision, to young people struggling with their school experience and general psychological wellbeing.
2. Support the process of training and supervising school staff in the use of DNA-V and ACT, along with qualified psychologists within the team.
3. Support the process of collecting, analysing and interpreting clinical data, as well as the process of using this data to inform approaches to psychological intervention
4. Use relevant literature/evidence base to inform practice.
5. Liaise with the child’s family, school staff and other professionals.
6. Participate in evaluation of programme effectiveness.

You will be part of Enable Trust, the host, working in partnership with Pathways Learning Centre on this project.
