About the Role - Workshop Supervisor
The Workshop Supervisor's role is to support the Workshop Manager in daily operations, oversee engineering staff to ensure health and safety compliance, allocate and prioritise vehicle maintenance tasks, liaise with Operations to meet vehicle needs, conduct quality control checks, and manage on-site contractors.
Key responsibilities:
1. Report directly to the Workshop Manager (WSM) and assist in the operation of the workshop
2. Continually monitor engineering staff's adherence to First's H&S policies
3. Assign work to the Vehicle inspectors and engineers in accordance with the WSM's maintenance and inspection plan
4. Prioritise and assign work found on vehicle inspections and driver defects.
