As a Senior Demand Planner at Resideo, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of our business. You’ll own the development and optimisation of customer- and product‑level forecasts, turning data into clear insights that drive smarter decisions across the organisation.
In this role, you’ll build advanced forecast models that draw on a rich mix of inputs from Sales, Marketing, Finance, Retailer Replenishment, and syndicated data sources like Nielsen, giving you a front‑row seat to the full commercial ecosystem. You’ll be the strategic bridge between Demand Planning and the Sales/Commercial teams, ensuring that insights turn into action.
In addition to deep demand planning experience, we’re seeking a candidate with strong expertise in statistical models and forecasting tools, who can challenge, customise, and continuously improve those models. This role requires the judgement to understand when to rely on the algorithm—and when to override it based on insight and experience.

JOB DUTIES:
1. Develop accurate demand forecasts and maintain planning tools to support supply and inventory decisions
2. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to understand demand drivers and align forecasts with business needs
3. Challenge, customise, and continuously improve statistical demand forecasting models and planning tools, applying expert judgement to determine when algorithm‑driven forecasts should be adjusted based on business insight and experience
4. Lead cross‑functional alignment meetings and provide input for new products, transitions, and promotions
5. Analyse forecast performance, identify trends, and deliver reports that support strategic and operational planning
6. Deliver reliable customer demand forecasts that enable the company to plan effectively and meet market demand
7. Strengthen collaboration and knowledge sharing between planning, sales, marketing, and finance teams
8. Drive continuous improvement in forecasting methods and systems, helping the organisation anticipate customer needs and optimise supply chain performance
YOU MUST HAVE:
9. 5+ years of experience in Demand Planning or a closely related field
10. Strong background in statistical analysis and data-driven forecasting within complex, high-variance environments, with a clear understanding of financial and operational impacts
11. Strong expertise in statistical forecasting models and demand planning tools, with the ability to critically assess model outputs and confidently override algorithms when required to improve forecast accuracy
12. Excellent analytical, organisational, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver clear, impactful presentations
13. Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process. Good facilitation skills are required
14. Proficiency in English is required

15. Experience with advanced forecasting tools and analytics platforms (., o9, SAP/APO, Manugistics, Oracle Demand Planning)
16. Familiarity with statistical modeling techniques, data visualization, and business intelligence tools (., Tableau, Power BI, Python, R)
