Mechanical fitter

Responsibilities
Mechanically fit and assemble components according to technical drawings and customer specifications.
Perform quality checks on finished products.
Meet monthly delivery targets.
Produce customer-compliant products using quality controls.
Interpret work instructions, assembly drawings, and bill of materials to produce compliant products.
Report quality concerns and kit shortages to the mechanical team lead.
Verify goods inward material is correct to drawing requirements pre-assembly operations.
Ensure safe working practices are always met while adhering to the health and safety policy.
Contribute to continuous improvement.
Person
Experience working in a similar role or a keen interest in developing new skills in precision mechanical engineering.
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Experience in manual drilling, reaming, and tapping is preferred.
Experience in deburr operations is desirable.
Background working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
