REED Engineering have partnered with an innovative access solutions business in the Edinburgh area who are seeking a CAD Engineer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
This is a varied role combining engineering CAD design, client interaction, site visits, quotations and internal collaboration to successfully deliver temporary works projects.
Regular duties in the role:
* Drawing of temporary works solutions through the use of AutoCAD & Inventor mainly
* Site visits and online meetings to discuss client requirements
* Pulling together of quotations
We are seeking:
* Candidate who has a strong background in using AutoCAD and/or Solidworks (Essential)
* Full, clean driving licence
* An interest in industrial projects – this role would not suit a candidate looking to pursue a career in Architecture
* A genuine willingness to contribute to the success of the business through team working, adaptability and hard-work
* Any previous client facing duties in a previous role would be of interest
