We are currently recruiting for full-time and relief roles across our specialist residential homes in Perthshire, Tayside and Fife. This is a truly rewarding opportunity to support children with complex needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and mental health difficulties, within a beautiful rural setting that emphasises outdoor learning and animal therapy.
Salary: Up to £18 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications) plus sleepover payments and overtime.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will be part of a dedicated team committed to the values of Acceptance, Resilience, and Empowerment. Your day-to-day will include:
* Holistic Support: Supporting the social and educational needs of children, including accompanying them in classroom environments.
* Relationship Building: Acting as a key worker to provide one-to-one support and fostering nurturing relationships.
* Activity Planning: Developing engaging activities based on the specific interests and therapeutic needs of the young people.
* Care Management: Implementing individual care plans and using positive behaviour management techniques to manage risks.
* Professional Excellence: Maintaining high standards in line with National Care Standards and coordinating with the wider care team.
What we need from you
To be successful in this application, you should:
* Have minimum 1 year previous experience working in a care setting with young people.
* Demonstrate an understanding of legislation, behaviour management, and attachment theory.
* Possess strong communication skills (experience with non-verbal children is a plus).
* Hold a full driving licence.
* Ideally hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or be willing to work towards this with our support).
* Be registered (or eligible to register) under the PVG scheme.
