Female Support Worker (Driver Required)
Hours: 37.5 per week, Mon-Fri, 8:50am-4:20pm Location: Christchurch, Dorset
Important Note
This role requires a female Support Worker with a full UK manual driving licence, in line with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010, to meet specific personal care needs.
Role Summary
We're seeking a caring and reliable Female Support Worker to provide person-centred support to adults with disabilities. You'll help individuals build independence, assist with personal care, and drive company vehicles as part of daily support.
Key Responsibilities
o Provide high-quality day-to-day care
o Support individuals in meaningful activities
o Assist with all aspects of personal care
o Drive company vehicles and escort individuals
o Administer medication (after training)
o Maintain accurate records and follow policies
o Keep training up to date and attend supervision
Person Requirements
o Basic literacy and numeracy
o Full UK manual driving licence
o Female (Genuine Occupational Requirement)
o Background in health and social care
o Experience with disabilities (desirable)
o Strong communication and teamwork skills
o Person-centred, respectful, organised, self-motivated
