Quantity Surveyor

What you’ll do:
The Quantity Surveyor will oversee large-scale landscape construction projects within a designated region. This role works closely with the Projects team to ensure financial performance and project delivery, aiming to meet target profit margins while maintaining accurate commercial reporting. This position typically requires a fully qualified (chartered) surveyor, as it involves managing complex projects and contracts
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee project budgets, valuations, forecasts, and cost reports to ensure financial accuracy and profitability.
Track cost vs. value (CVR), manage variations, and collaborate with client QS to maintain contractual compliance.
Conduct site measurements, manage procurement schedules, and ensure timely material deliveries.
Process subcontractor payments, review labour costs, and maintain accurate documentation.
Support risk management, resolve entitlement issues, and contribute to internal contract reviews.
What we are looking for:
Strong experience in quantity surveying, ideally on large landscape projects or civils
Proven skills in cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Solid grasp of contracts, procurement, and change management.
Collaborative, analytical, and detail-focused with strong decision-making abilities.
Excellent communicator and highly organised, able to manage multiple projects.
Desirable:
Familiarity with learning platforms and mandatory training processes.
Management and mentorship skills.
Experience working with procurement teams and subcontractors, including managing procurement schedules, material quotations, and call-offs.
